Part five of the NSMB DS walkthrough shows you how to conquer: World 2-4, World 2-T, and World 2-5. This video will show you how to accomplish this. Or, if you are small Mario, you can simply jump on the Koopa and then wall jump to reach the pipe. To get to it, use a spin launch and land on the Red Koopa when he’s below the platform while still spinning. Before you into the pipe on the far right of the area that leads to the next section, instead go into the Yellow Pipe above. You’ll find it near the end of the first section of the level. This secret exit for level 2-A will lead you to the World 2 Warp Cannon, which will warp you to World 5. Finally, swim up to the top and to the right where you will find the exit to the Red Flagpole and this level’s secret exit. Hit the switch on the upper left to raise the water more.
Touch the switch and swim up where you see the coins. You’ll find the secret exit in this level (which leads to level 2-A) in the second section of the stage where the water rises. Part two of the guide will walk you through the following levels: World 1-4, World 1-5, World 1-A, World 1-Castle. Go through the pipe and you’ll find the hidden exit. You’ll need to use your Shell Mario spinning to break the lower breaks and then jump in the next section to break the breaks in the middle. Hold right on the control pad and you’ll go through the gap and into a hidden area. Do not enter the door in this room! Instead, make your way to the upper right where you’ll see a gap. Go through that door and you’ll be in a room with a Star Coin and gray moving blocks.
After you go through the checkpoint, you’ll see a pipe that launches you upward towards a door. You’ll find the secret exit of this level around the middle of the stage. In order to access this secret exit you’ll need to be Shell mario.
